Sunnyland

Earth Angel is a 1968 Burger Cruiser - "The Queen of the Fleet" - For over 100 years, Burger Boat Co. has been building yachts that are considered to be among the best America has to offer.

Some of our exciting Saturday events include:

All You Can Eat "Crab Lover's Cruise" - CRABS like you've never had them! (North Carolina Recipe), SHRIMP to die for!, CORN that doesn't get stuck in your teeth!

All You Can Eat "Rib Lover's Cruise" - Get ready for the best Ribs yet! Paired with Corn, Hushpuppies and Salad

Whiskey Run to Urbanna - In keeping with the Tides Inn & Miss Ann tradition, a relaxing trip to Urbanna with time to Shop, Lunch, Browse and Have Fun!

The interior was where owners had choices.  They could be extravagant or opulent or as in Earth Angel's case, comfortably casual and distinctive.

Three staterooms, three heads, main salon & 50's decorated galley below.

Enormous after deck with wet bar.  Foredeck with breathtaking views, all on the main deck and then  the bridge deck 20 feet in the air with a 360 degree view.  An intimate group of 6 or a party of 35-40 with staff and crew, just about anything is possible.

Tydamar is a 1930 Elco Cruisette

Length: 35 feet, 0 inches
Beam: 10 feet, 3 inches
Draft: 2 feet, 9 inches
Headroom: 6 feet, 1 inch

Tydamar is ideal for groups up to six. She has a forward cockpit accessed through the cabin, a double passenger seat, port & starboard settees in the main cabin and an aft cockpit. Tydamar is comfortable and offers the perfect viewing platform from which to enjoy the magnificent scenery of Carters Creek.

Carters Creek is a unique body of water!  With 2 main branches and 17 different coves to see and explore - 2 hours pass in what seems like minutes.  All of this while enjoying coffee and sweet rolls at mid-morning or a delicious box lunch at noon ... high tea at 4:00 PM, or hors d'oeuvres and cocktails at 5:00 PM -- can it get any better?  I don't know ... (hmmmmmmm) ... nice for sunset ... moonlight cruises ... dancing ... a casino ... the Riviera ... ah, oh well....!

Sunnyland is a 1930 Elco Cruiser.

Length: 38 feet, 0 inches
Beam: 10 feet, 5 inches
Draft: 2 feet, 10 inches
Headroom: 6 feet, 1 inch

Sunnyland is a double cabin cruiser designed for extra accomodations and privacy.  She is the sister ship to Charles Lindberg's honeymoon yacht.  Only 10 of these cruisers were built, and Sunnyland is the 10th.

The After Cabin trunk has been removed and the resulting hole decked over.  Then a frame was built overhead covered by a beautiful awning which may be rolled back, if desired, for a sunny or shady setting from which to see the sights perhaps along the Corotoman.

In the fall, chilly or inclement weather, the main cabin is the place to be!  Surrounded by glass and furnished with a large settee, portable tables and deck chairs.

Casual buffet or elegant meals may be enjoyed comfortably.  Small cocktail parties for up to 12 guests ... wine tasting ... coffee tasting ... or maybe even Tupperware Parties, Mary Kay Cosmetics, or Amway (just kidding)!
